This year we have also added two new testing methods:
VOC (Violate Organic Compound Scanning) which detects bothersome odors in the home or workplace and helps identify 63 regulated compounds currently listed by the E.P.A.
IR (Infrared Thermograph Imaging) which is a non-evasive test that provides a high degree of accuracy in detecting water intrusion. IR can detect and verify moisture infiltration without removing building materials. Water and moisture intrusion are expensive to home and business owners.
We recommend retesting the areas after mold remediation has been completed. It is advised to retest by an independent company – preferably not the company who performed the work. This will assure you that the affected areas have been cleaned and properly cleared. We also offer consulting services addressing ventilation issues and moisture control.
